初、「能演」下一行，讚能導空法妙。經云「甘露」者，即長生不死之藥也。文詮中道妙空實相真諦，能過二死迷變，可生四德常身，故斯理空即名甘露。仍由染體本淨，空名妙法，從此而入，復名法門。

First, the single line from "Able to expound" praises the wondrousness of the Dharma of emptiness that is able to guide. When the sūtra says "sweet dew" (amṛta), this is the medicine of long life and immortality. The text explains the wondrous emptiness of the Middle Way, the true mark, and the true truth, which can overcome the delusion and transformation of the two kinds of death, and can give birth to the eternal body of the four virtues; hence this principle of emptiness is called sweet dew. Moreover, because the defiled essence is fundamentally pure, emptiness is called the wondrous Dharma; entering by means of this, it is further called the Dharma-gate.
