二、「善女」下，與水食，二：初、與水，四：初、取樹枝覆日。恃，依也。二、「作陰涼已」下，知水源決絕。捕，捉也。決棄其水。決，音穴。《廣雅》云「穿也」，《說文》云「下流也」。《周易》「藩決不羸」，亦音穴也。三、「時長」下，就大王借象。厩，馬舍也。《釋名》云「厩，聚也。馬之所聚也。」

Second, from "Good woman..." downward, giving water and food, in two: first, giving water, in four: first, taking tree branches to screen the sun. Shi (恃) means to rely on. Second, from "After creating cool shade..." downward, knowing that the water source was cut off. Bu (捕) means to catch. Diverting and discarding its water. Jue (決) is pronounced xue. The Guangya states: "It means to pierce through." The Shuowen says: "It means to flow downward." In the Zhouyi, "a hedge pierced through without entanglement" is also pronounced xue. Third, from "Then the elder..." downward, borrowing elephants from the great king. Jiu (厩) means a stable for horses. The Shiming says: "Jiu means gathering; it is the place where horses gather."
