贊曰：第十二懺由三不善根故造惡業。言憍慢者，由癡不善根起，故兼舉之。又依初科，此之一頌結前所造皆悉懺悔。

The Commentary says: The twelfth repents creating evil karma through the three unwholesome roots. As for 'arrogance and pride', because they arise from the unwholesome root of delusion, they are brought up along with it. Furthermore, according to the initial division of topics, this single stanza concludes the repenting of all that was previously created.
