贊曰：答第二問意隨喜之法。文段分四：一隨喜凡夫福、二隨喜菩薩福、三隨喜如來福、四隨喜三乘福。此初也，初隨喜現在、後隨喜過未。謂世間修三福業事，戒施修俱福，云三福業。過未可知。或戒定慧學，施者無貪即戒學迹，貪障出家故偏明之，略不說無瞋。

Commentary: Answering the intention of the second question: the method of rejoicing. The divisions of the text are four: first, rejoicing in the merit of ordinary beings; second, rejoicing in the merit of bodhisattvas; third, rejoicing in the merit of tathāgatas; fourth, rejoicing in the merit of the three vehicles. This is the first: first rejoicing in the present, then rejoicing in the past and future. It refers to cultivating the three meritorious works in the world: morality, giving, and mental cultivation together are meritorious, called the three bases of meritorious work. The past and future are clear. Or, they are the trainings of morality, concentration, and wisdom: giving is non-greed, which is the vestige of the training in morality; because greed obstructs renunciation, it is specifically highlighted, while non-hatred is omitted.
