經。爾時天帝釋及恒河女神、無量梵王、四大天眾從座而起，偏袒右肩，右膝著地，合掌頂禮，白佛言：「世尊！我等皆得聞是《金光明最勝王經》，今悉受持，讀誦通利，為他廣說，依此法住。何以故？世尊！我等欲求阿耨多羅三藐三菩提，隨順此義種種勝相如法行故。」爾時，梵王及天帝釋等，於說法處皆以種種曼陀羅華而散佛上。

Sūtra: At that time, Śakra, King of the Devas, the goddess of the Ganges River, immeasurable Brahmā kings, and the assemblies of the Four Great Heavenly Kings arose from their seats, bared their right shoulders, knelt on their right knees, joined their palms, bowed with their heads at [the Buddha's] feet, and said to the Buddha: "World-Honoured One! We have all attained the hearing of this Sūtra of Golden Light, Most Victorious King. Now we all accept, uphold, read, recite, master, and extensively explain it for others, and abide in accordance with this Dharma. Why is this? World-Honoured One! Because we seek anuttarā samyaksambodhi and act in accordance with the Dharma by following these various superior marks of this meaning." At that time, the Brahmā kings, Śakra, King of the Devas, and the others, at the place where the Dharma was being preached, all scattered various mandārava flowers over the Buddha.
