贊曰：下第四大段引己為證，明聞經福多。初徵、次引。引中有六：初明所逢佛、二陳己得益、三彼佛現證、四佛指處方、五說聞名得益、六結成福勝。明所逢佛中有四：一時節；二「有佛名」下名號；三「住世六百」下住；四「爾時寶王下」說法利，即三會益。文相可知。

The commentary states: Below is the fourth major section: adducing oneself as proof, clarifying the abundant merit of hearing the sūtra. First, the inquiry; next, the adduction. In the adduction, there are six parts: first, clarifying the buddha encountered; second, stating the benefit attained by oneself; third, that buddha's personal verification; fourth, the Buddha pointing out the location; fifth, explaining the benefit attained from hearing the name; sixth, concluding the superiority of the merit. In clarifying the buddha encountered, there are four parts: first, the time period; second, from "there was a buddha named" onwards, the name; third, from "remained in the world for six hundred" onwards, the duration of his stay; fourth, from "At that time, Ratnarāja" onwards, the benefit of expounding the Dharma, which refers to the benefit of the three assemblies. The textual form is easily understood.
