贊曰：品中第三大段大梵讚揚。於中有二：初梵王讚勸、後如來印誠。初讚歎也。於中文三：初讚儀、次正讚、後勸持。此初也。大自在梵王者，第四靜慮王，即第十地菩薩。《十地經》云「現報利益，受佛位故。後報利益，摩醯首羅智處生故。」

Commentary: The third major section of the chapter is Mahābrahmā's praise. In this there are two parts: first, the Brahmā King praises and exhorts; later, the Tathāgata confirms and ratifies. The first is praising. In this text there are three: first, the ritual of praise; next, the praise proper; later, exhorting to uphold. This is the first. As for 'Mahābrahmā King Maheśvara', he is the king of the fourth dhyāna, namely a bodhisattva of the tenth ground. The Daśabhūmika Sūtra says: 'For present retribution benefit, he receives the buddha stage. For future retribution benefit, he is born in the wisdom abode of Maheśvara.'
