解妨者，何不於前〈夢懺品〉後即說此品，今方說耶？答：時會機宜欲樂爾故。又夢懺悔為滅罪之先徵，悟即應求罪滅、進修勝行，現因正學故即先陳，往事證誠故在後說。

As for resolving difficulties: Why was this chapter not spoken directly after the preceding 'Chapter on Confession in a Dream', but only spoken now? Answer: Because of the inclinations, capacities, and desires of the assembly at that time. Furthermore, dreaming of confession is the initial omen for eradicating sins; upon awakening, one should seek the eradication of sins and advance in cultivating supreme practice. Because present causes are being correctly studied, they are set forth first, while past events serve to verify and confirm, so they are spoken afterwards.
