4.246

經　爾時佛告菩提樹神：「善女天！汝今應知妙幢夜夢，見妙金鼓出大音聲讚佛功德并懺悔法。此之因緣，我為汝等廣說其事，應當諦聽善思念之。」

Sūtra: At that time the Buddha addressed the goddess of the Bodhi-tree: "Good goddess! You should now know that Ruciraketu, in a night dream, saw a wondrous golden drum emitting a great sound praising the Buddha's merits and the method of confession. The causes and conditions of this I shall expound extensively for you all; you should listen attentively and reflect on it well."
