金勝陀羅尼品，三門分別：一來意、二釋名、三解妨。言來意者，上明夢聞金鼓說懺悔音滅除業障修淨地行，皆□親近供養諸佛、發勝祈願善根所成。此等既由佛得，□□教常見佛。廣行難學、略行易遵，故授總持，令依修□，常得見佛修行供養，故前品後有此品生。

The Chapter on the Golden Victory Dhāraṇī is distinguished through three gates: 1. the occasion for its arising; 2. explanation of the title; 3. resolution of doubts. Regarding the occasion for its arising: the previous text explained hearing the golden drum in a dream utter the sound of confession to eliminate karmic hindrances and cultivate the practices of the pure stages, all of which are accomplished by [...] drawing near to and making offerings to the buddhas, and giving rise to the good roots of supreme prayers. Since these were obtained through the Buddha, [...] taught them constantly to see the Buddha. Broad practices are difficult to learn, whereas condensed practices are easy to observe; therefore, the dhāraṇī is granted to enable them to rely on its cultivation [...], constantly to see the Buddha and practice offerings. Hence, following the previous chapter, this chapter arises.
