贊曰：明無淨樂等故空。分二：初一頌不淨業故招五趣果，不同無漏白淨之業招清淨果；後一頌明不淨相無淨樂故空。如《解脫道論》於不淨有十想：一膖脹想、二青瘀、三爛壞、四棄擲、五鳥獸食噉、六身肉分張、七斬斫離散、八赤血塗染、九虫臭、十骨想。此經不具，頌中略示。

The Commentary says: This explains that lacking purity, bliss, and so forth, it is empty. It is divided into two: the first verse shows that because of impure karma it incurs fruits in the five destinies, unlike undefiled, pure karma which incurs pure fruits; the second verse explains that its impure characteristics lack purity and bliss, and are therefore empty. For example, the Vimuttimagga has ten perceptions regarding impurity: first, perception of a bloated corpse; second, of a blue-bruised corpse; third, of a festering corpse; fourth, of an abandoned corpse; fifth, of a corpse devoured by birds and beasts; sixth, of a scattered corpse; seventh, of a cut and mutilated corpse; eighth, of a corpse stained with red blood; ninth, of a worm-ridden and foul corpse; tenth, perception of a skeleton. This sūtra does not list them completely, but indicates them briefly in the verse.
