經 爾時世尊作是語已，時善女天踊躍歡喜，即從座起，偏袒右肩右膝著地，合掌恭敬一心頂禮而白佛言：「世尊！如上所說菩提正行，我今當學。」
The Sūtra [reads]: When the World-Honoured One had finished speaking these words, the Devī leaped for great joy. She immediately arose from her seat, bared her right shoulder, placed her right knee on the ground, reverently pressed her palms together, single-mindedly bowed her head in homage, and addressed the Buddha, saying: "World-Honoured One! I shall now train in the correct practice of bodhi as explained above."
