4.79

經　「善男子！復依五法，菩薩摩訶薩成就靜慮波羅蜜。云何為五？一者於諸善法攝令不散故、二者常願解脫不著二邊故、三者願得神通成就眾生諸善根故、四者為淨法界蠲除心垢故、五者為斷眾生煩惱根本故。善男子！是名菩薩摩訶薩成就靜慮波羅蜜。」

Sūtra: "Good sons, furthermore, relying on five things, bodhisattva-mahāsattvas accomplish dhyānapāramitā. What are the five? First, gathering wholesome dharmas together so that they do not scatter; second, constantly aspiring to liberation without clinging to the two extremes; third, aspiring to attain supernormal powers to mature all the wholesome roots of sentient beings; fourth, eliminating mental defilements in order to purify the dharmadhātu; fifth, eradicating the root of sentient beings' afflictions. Good sons, this is called the bodhisattva-mahāsattva's accomplishment of dhyānapāramitā."
