「世尊！誦此呪者，當以白線呪之七遍，一遍一結，繫之肘後，其事必成。應取諸香，所謂安息、栴檀、龍腦、蘇合、多揭羅、薰陸，皆須等分和合一處，手執香罏燒香供養，清淨澡浴著鮮潔衣，於一靜室可誦神呪。」

'World-Honoured One! One who recites this dhāraṇī should enchant a white thread with it seven times, tying a knot with each repetition, and bind it behind the elbow; their endeavor will surely succeed. One should take various incenses, namely benzoin, sandalwood, camphor, storax, tagara, and frankincense, all in equal parts and blended together in one place. Holding an incense burner in hand, offer incense. Having bathed cleanly and put on fresh, clean clothes, one may recite the divine dhāraṇī in a quiet room.'
