5.171

經　「又持此呪者，於每日中憶我多聞天王及男女眷屬，稱揚讚歎，恒以十善共相資助，令彼天等福力增明眾善普臻證菩提處。彼諸天眾見是事已，皆大歡喜共來擁衛持呪之人。又持呪者壽命長遠經無量歲，永離三塗常無災厄。亦令護得如意寶珠，及以伏藏神通自在，所願皆成。若求官榮，無不稱意。亦解一切禽獸之語。」

Sūtra: 'Furthermore, this dhāraṇī-upholder should daily remember me, the Heavenly King Much-Hearing, and my male and female retinue, praising and extolling us, and constantly support us with the ten wholesome deeds, causing the blessings and power of those devas to increase and brighten, all virtues to arrive everywhere, and to realize the stage of bodhi. When that host of devas sees this, they will all rejoice greatly and come together to guard and protect the person who upholds the dhāraṇī. Furthermore, the dhāraṇī-upholder will have a long life spanning immeasurable years, forever leave the three evil destinies, and constantly be free from disasters and hardships. It will also cause them to be protected so as to obtain the wish-fulfilling jewel, as well as hidden treasures and mastery of supernatural powers, with all their wishes being fulfilled. If seeking official rank and honor, none will fail to match their desire. They will also understand the speech of all birds and beasts.'
