"Furthermore, if there is a person who can accept and maintain this dhāraṇī-spell, I will provide him with all requisites for livelihood and pleasure: food and drink, clothing, flowers, fruits, and rare treasures; or if he seeks sons, daughters, boys, or girls, gold, silver, precious jewels, and various adornments, I will supply them all, satisfying whatever he seeks and aspires to without lack. This dhāraṇī-spell has great, mighty power. Whenever the spell is recited, I will quickly arrive at his place, free him from obstacles, and bring about accomplishment according to his wishes. When maintaining this spell, one should know the ritual method. First, paint an image of the yakṣa Saṃjñeya, four or five cubits tall, holding a spear in his hand. Before this image, construct a square altar, and place upon it four full jars of honey-water or sugarcane-water, along with ointment incense, powdered incense, burning incense, and various garlands. Further, before the altar, make a hearth on the ground containing charcoal fire. Burn mustard seeds with ghee in the hearth while reciting the preceding spell aloud one hundred and eight times, one offering per recitation. Eventually, I, the great yakṣa general, will appear in bodily form in person and ask the practitioner: 'What do you require?' Whatever he desires in mind, he should answer according to the matter, and I will immediately reply: 'Whatever you seek will all be fully satisfied.' Or if he needs gold, silver, and hidden treasures; or wishes to become an immortal who ascends into the sky and departs; or seeks the divine eye; or wishes to know others' thoughts, enjoying sovereign mastery over all sentient beings according to his will, causing them to sever afflictions and quickly attain liberation—all of these shall be accomplished."
