Below, the second part concerns empowerment through the power of the spell, and it has six aspects: first, requesting to speak to reveal the intent; second, beginning with "immediately spoke the spell," the actual speaking of the spell; third, beginning with "furthermore, if there is a person," the exhortation to cultivate and the benefits; fourth, beginning with "when maintaining this spell," showing the ritual practice; fifth, beginning with "eventually," explaining the attainment of benefits, which has three parts: 1) appearing in bodily form, 2) the question and answer, and 3) beginning with "or if he needs," granting according to wish: granting the seven treasures, granting hidden treasures, granting supernormal powers, granting sovereignty, and granting liberation. By analogy with the previous granting of eloquence, attaining wisdom here should also involve reciting the spell, entreating him to appear in bodily form, and receiving empowerment to attain wisdom; this is omitted for brevity. Saying "causing them to sever afflictions and quickly attain liberation" expresses the intent of seeking wisdom.
