下述昔歡遊。文中有三：初王出遊觀、次臣佐皆隨、後子別追賞。問：既言王出遊觀王子隨從，何故聞子捨身云在宮內？答：準舊所譯，但王子出，略不論父；此捨周旋，略無還駕。據實子隨從，王在前還，故聞捨身在宮無爽。

Below, recounting the past pleasure outing. In the text there are three parts: first, the king going out on an excursion; next, the ministers and attendants all following; later, the sons separately pursuing enjoyment. Question: Since it says that the king went out on an excursion and the princes followed along, why does it say [later] that when hearing of the son relinquishing his body, he was inside the palace? Answer: According to the older translations, only the princes went out, and it omitted discussing the father; here, they left and roamed about, and it omits his returning carriage. In reality, the sons followed along, and the king returned beforehand; hence hearing of the body's relinquishment while in the palace has no discrepancy.
