下第三遇苦悲生。於中有三：初述先想念，此中復二：初三子各陳、後「時諸王子」下經家總結。

Below, third: encountering suffering and generating compassion. Within this there are three parts: first, recounting their earlier thoughts, wherein there are again two: first, the three sons each stating [their thoughts]; later, from "At that time, the princes" onward, the compiler of the sūtra sums it up.
