經　「復作是念：『我今此身於百千生虛棄爛壞日無所益，云何今日而不能捨以濟飢苦，如捐洟唾？』」

The Sūtra [states]: "He further had this thought: 'In hundreds of thousands of lifetimes, this body of mine has been uselessly discarded and decayed day by day without benefit. Why then today am I unable to give it up to relieve her from the suffering of hunger, like discarding spit or snot?'"
