經 「時諸王子作是議已，各起慈心悽傷愍念，共觀羸虎目不暫移，徘徊久之俱捨而去。」
The Sūtra [states]: "At that time, after having thus deliberated, the princes each gave rise to a mind of loving-kindness, grieving and pitying [the tigress]. Together they gazed upon the emaciated tigress without moving their eyes for an instant, and after lingering for a long time, they all left her and departed."
