6.288

經　「世尊真實語，安住於實法，由彼真實故，護持於此經。大悲為甲冑，安住於大慈，由彼慈悲力，護持於此經。福資糧圓滿，生起智資糧，由資糧滿故，護持於此經。降伏一切魔，破滅諸邪論，斷除惡見故，護持於此經。護世并釋梵，乃至阿蘇羅，龍神藥叉等，護持於此經。地上及虛空，久住於斯者，奉持佛教故，護持於此經。四梵住相應，四聖諦嚴飾，降伏四魔故，護持於此經。虛空成質礙，質礙成虛空，諸佛所護持，無能傾動者。」

Sūtra:
'The World-Honoured One speaks true words,
And abides in the true Dharma;
Because of that truth,
We protect and maintain this sūtra.
With mahākaruṇā as armour,
He abides in great loving-kindness;
By the power of that loving-kindness and compassion,
We protect and maintain this sūtra.
His provision of merit being complete,
He generates the provision of wisdom;
Because his provisions are complete,
We protect and maintain this sūtra.
He subdues all māras,
Destroys all heterodox treatises,
And cuts off evil views;
Therefore we protect and maintain this sūtra.
The World Protectors together with Śakra and Brahmā,
Down to the asuras,
Nāgas, spirits, yakṣas, and the like,
Protect and maintain this sūtra.
Those who abide long in this place,
Upon the earth and in the sky,
Because they uphold the Buddha's teaching,
Protect and maintain this sūtra.
Associated with the four brahmavihāras,
Adorned with the four noble truths,
And subduing the four māras,
Therefore we protect and maintain this sūtra.
Space might become obstructed,
And the obstructed might become space;
Yet what is protected by the Buddhas
No one can shake or overturn.'
