下第三佛為答，有三：初印可問詞；次「此諸天子」下正答所問，有二：初略、後二品廣。初中復二：初偏答現勝行，欲顯前聞經必當成佛因，故有三行：一「於妙天宮」下捨欲樂行，能趣法會故。二「故來聽是」下聞經行，法正佛因故。三「復得聞此」下聞記隨喜行，能願求故。

Below, the third part, the Buddha answers for her, has three sections: first, confirming the words of the question; next, from "These devaputras" onward, directly answering what was asked, which has two parts: first brief, and then elaborated in the subsequent two chapters. Within the first part there are again two: first, specifically answering regarding present superior practices, wishing to show that the cause for previously hearing the sūtra must inevitably lead to buddhahood, and therefore there are three practices: first, from "in their wonderful celestial palaces" onward, the practice of renouncing the pleasure of desires, because they were able to proceed to the Dharma assembly; second, from "purposefully came to listen to this" onward, the practice of listening to the sūtra, because the Dharma is the true cause of buddhahood; third, from "and further succeeded in hearing about" onward, the practice of rejoicing upon hearing the predictions, because they were able to make vows and aspirations.
