「大慧！若復諸餘沙門婆羅門見離自性浮雲、火輪、揵闥婆城，無生幻、焰、水月及夢，內外心現妄想，無始虛偽不離自心。妄想因緣滅盡，離妄想說所說、觀所觀，受用建立身之藏識，於識境界攝受及攝受者不相應無所有境界，離生、住、滅，自心起隨入分別。」

"Mahāmati, if other śramaṇas and brāhmaṇas see that things are devoid of svabhāva like floating clouds, fire-wheels, gandharvanagaras, unborn illusions, mirages, the moon in the water, and dreams; that inner and outer vikalpa appears from the mind, beginninglessly false and unreal yet not separate from one's own mind; if the conditions of vikalpa are extinguished without remainder, if they are free from vikalpa regarding the expounder and the expounded, the contemplator and the contemplated, and from the ālayavijñāna that experiences and establishes the body; and if in the realm of consciousness they are not associated with graspings and the grasper, dwelling in a realm of nothingness, free from arising, abiding, and cessation—then their own minds arise and conformingly enter into discrimination."
