爾時，大慧菩薩為淨除自心現流故，復請如來，白佛言：「世尊！云何淨除一切眾生自心現流，為頓、為漸耶？」

At that time, in order to purify the stream of appearances of one's own mind, the bodhisattva Mahāmati requested again of the Tathāgata, saying to the Buddha: "World-Honoured One, how is the stream of appearances of one's own mind of all sentient beings purified? Is it sudden, or is it gradual?"
