此詶離自性相之問。還約無生言之，故曰「離自性即是無生」。言剎那相續流注者，心也；及異性現等者，法也。謂心若變動，則有異性所現一切諸法。若了心空，則諸法自泯，故云離自性也。

This answers the question on the characteristic of being free from self-nature. It is still explained in terms of non-arising; hence it says 'being free from self-nature is precisely non-arising'. 'The flowing torrent of momentary continuity' refers to the mind; 'and from the appearance of different natures' and so forth refers to dharmas. It means that if the mind undergoes changing movements, then there are all dharmas manifested by different natures. If one realizes that the mind is empty, then all dharmas are naturally extinguished; hence it says 'free from self-nature'.
