此段復問如來加被菩薩所以。如來答以四義，如經可見。良以初心菩薩道力未充，不假如來神力加持，非但不能增進至如來地，亦且不能遠離聲聞魔界。如來慈悲攝受之意可謂深矣！偈頌可解。

This section asks again about the reason why the Tathāgata empowers bodhisattvas. The Tathāgata answers with four meanings, as can be seen in the sūtra. This is truly because the power of the path of beginner bodhisattvas is not yet sufficient; without relying on the Tathāgata's supernatural empowerment, not only would they be unable to advance to the Tathāgata stage, but they would also be unable to stay far from the śrāvaka and demonic realms. The Tathāgata's intention of compassionate embrace can indeed be called profound! The verse can be understood directly.
