「大慧！彼四句者，謂離一異、俱不俱、有無非有非無、常無常，是名四句。大慧！此四句離，是名一切法。大慧！此四句觀察一切法，應當修學。」

"Mahāmati, those four propositions mean leaving behind identity and difference, both and neither, existence and nonexistence, neither existence nor nonexistence, and permanence and impermanence; these are called the four propositions. Mahāmati, being free from these four propositions is called all dharmas. Mahāmati, contemplating all dharmas through these four propositions should be cultivated and studied."
