鹿逐時焰，不知非水。愚夫樂欲，不知樂是苦因。言妄想熏習，即自性習因義也。取內外性等，正謂起見也。
The deer chase the mirage, not knowing it is not water. Foolish people delight in desires, not knowing that pleasure is the cause of suffering. Speaking of 'perfuming and habituation of discrimination' refers precisely to the meaning of the habitual cause of svabhāva. 'Grasping at internal and external natures' and so forth refers specifically to giving rise to views.
