At that time, the Bodhisattva Mahāmati again addressed the Buddha, saying: "World-Honoured One, I pray only that you will explain for our sake the meaning of the continuity and the meaning of liberation of all dharmas. If we skillfully distinguish the characteristics of continuity and non-continuity of all dharmas, I and the other bodhisattvas will skillfully understand the skillful means of all continuity, not falling into clinging to continuity according to the literal meaning, being skilled in the characteristics of continuity and non-continuity of all dharmas, leaving behind the discriminating awareness of words and letters and false discrimination, travelling to all buddha lands, [possessing] the seals of the assemblies of boundless multitudes, powers, sovereignties, supernormal knowledges, and dhāraṇīs, shining with the light of diverse transformations, our awakened wisdom skillfully entering the ten inexhaustible phrases, acting without expedient means just like the sun, moon, maṇi jewels, and four great elements, in all stages free from seeing the characteristics of one's own false discrimination, seeing all dharmas as illusions, dreams, and the like, entering the body of the Buddha stage, and in all realms of sentient beings preaching the Dharma and guiding them according to their needs, causing them all to dwell peacefully in all dharmas as illusions, dreams, and the like, free from the categories of existence and nonexistence and from the false discrimination of arising and ceasing and literal meanings, their bodies becoming increasingly superior."
