3.164

佛自徵釋，意謂有無平等、凡聖一如，因迷解有異。迷則不知心外無法，為境風之所漂動；解故能壞彼見，則復本心平等之理矣。

The Buddha questions and explains it himself, meaning that the equality of existence and nonexistence, and the oneness of ordinary and noble, differ only because of delusion and awakening. In delusion, one does not know that there are no dharmas outside the mind, and is drifted and tossed by the winds of external objects; through awakening one can destroy those views, and then return to the principle of equality of the original mind.
