'Far removed from that which is created,
And the difference of shape and location,
Nature and form are impermanent—
These are the foolish false discriminations of tīrthikas.
Natures have no destruction;
The great elements abide in their own nature.
The tīrthikas' notion of impermanence
Is submerged in various views.
For those tīrthikas and the like,
There is no arising or perishing;
The nature of the great elements is of itself permanent—
How can it be called a notion of impermanence?
Everything is mind-measure alone;
Two kinds of mind flow and turn:
Apprehending and what is apprehended;
There is no self or what belongs to self.
Brahmā is the root of the tree,
Whose branches spread everywhere;
What I have spoken of in this manner
Is merely the measure of their mind.'
