4.119

滅正受者，正受即三昧，謂滅盡定也。此定三乘同入而位次淺深不同，善知此已，於大滅定不捨，於凡小正受不墮。問辭可見。

As for 'attainment of cessation': 'correct attainment' is samādhi, meaning the meditative attainment of cessation (nirodhasamāpatti). The three vehicles enter this samādhi together, yet their stages and depths differ. Knowing this well, one does not abandon the great cessation attainment, nor does one fall into the correct attainment of ordinary beings or the Hīnayāna. This can be seen from the phrasing of the question.
