4.164

「善真諦解脫修行者，作解脫想。不離不轉，名如來藏識，七識流轉不滅。所以者何？彼因攀緣，諸識生故。非聲聞、緣覺修行境界，不覺無我，自共相攝受，生陰界入。見如來藏，五法、自性、人法無我則滅。」

"Practitioners who are skilled in liberation of the true truth form the thought of liberation. Because [the receptacle-consciousness] is not departed from and not transformed, it is named the tathāgatagarbha-consciousness, and the seven consciousnesses circulate without cessation. Why is this? Because the various consciousnesses arise with that as cause and objective support. This is not the realm of practice of śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas; not realizing selflessness, they grasp at svalakṣaṇa and sāmānyalakṣaṇa, giving rise to the skandhas, dhātus, and āyatanas. If one sees the tathāgatagarbha, the five dharmas, svabhāva, and the selflessness of persons and dharmas cease."
