略說者，對下廣說而言。心、識、習氣乃生死之因，五陰乃生死之果。由不了心、識、習氣長養，故有三界六凡有漏妄想剎那。善不善，即三善三惡也。

'Briefly stated' is said in contrast to the detailed explanation below. Citta, vijñāna, and vāsanā are the causes of saṃsāra, and the five skandhas are the fruits of saṃsāra. Because one does not understand that citta, vijñāna, and vāsanā nourish them, there are the momentary, contaminated vikalpas of the three realms and six ordinary states of existence. Wholesome and unwholesome refer to the three wholesome and three unwholesome destinies.
