此答第二問也。謂本住法無增無減，故前無佛道可得，後無涅槃可入，中間亦無法可說，故曰「前後非性。」非性者，離自性也。

This answers the second question. It means that the fundamentally abiding Dharma neither increases nor decreases; therefore, previously there is no Buddha Path to be attained, subsequently there is no nirvāṇa to be entered, and in the interim there is also no Dharma to be preached. Therefore, it is said: 'Before and after are devoid of svabhāva.' 'Devoid of svabhāva' means being free from intrinsic nature.
