「大慧！心、意、意識、眼識等七，剎那習氣因，善無漏品離，不復輪轉。大慧！如來藏者，輪轉涅槃、苦樂因，空亂意慧愚癡凡夫所不能覺。」

'Mahāmati! The seven—citta, manas, manovijñāna, visual consciousness, and so forth—have momentary vāsanās as their cause; when separated from the wholesome, untainted class, they do not transmigrate any longer. Mahāmati! The tathāgatagarbha is the cause of transmigration, nirvāṇa, suffering, and pleasure, which cannot be perceived by foolish common persons whose minds and intellects are distracted by emptiness.'
