「曾悉為親屬，鄙穢不淨雜，
不淨所生長，聞氣悉恐怖。
一切肉與葱，及諸韮、蒜等，
種種放逸酒，修行常遠離。
亦常離麻油，及諸穿孔床，
以彼諸細蟲，於中極恐怖。」

"They have all once been one's kin;
Contemptible, foul, impure, and mixed,
Grown from what is impure,
All smell the scent and are terrified.
All meat, as well as scallions,
And various leeks and garlic,
And various intoxicants causing heedlessness—
The practitioner constantly stays far away from them.
Also constantly avoid sesame oil
And perforated beds,
Because the minute insects
Are extremely terrified therein."
