"Mahāmati, that uninterrupted lineage of the Tathāgata vehicle is of four kinds: the uninterrupted lineage of the dharma of own-nature, the uninterrupted lineage of the dharma devoid of own-nature, the uninterrupted lineage of attaining the noble [state of] personal realization, and the uninterrupted lineage of the excellence of external lands. Mahāmati, when these four matters are expounded one by one, and when the inconceivable realm of the manifestation from one's own mind of body, property, and abode is expounded, if one's mind is neither frightened nor terrified, this is called the characteristic of the uninterrupted lineage of the Tathāgata vehicle."
