This concludes that all dharmas such as emptiness, non-arising, and so forth, are not only taught in this sūtra, but are the purport expounded by all the great teachings. The realm of noble wisdom is fundamentally without verbal explanation; yet the Tathāgata skillfully makes distinctions in order to cause sentient beings to leave behind clinging and reveal their nature. If one clings to words, one loses the principle; therefore he admonishes, 'Do not cling to verbal explanations.' The marvel lies in grasping the meaning and forgetting the words, just as with the metaphor of the finger pointing at the moon; then one attains it.
