At that time, the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva Mahāmati again addressed the Buddha, saying: "World-Honoured One! Please preach for us the marks of transcending identity and difference, both and neither, existence, nonexistence, neither existence nor nonexistence, permanence and impermanence, which is unpractised by any tīrthika and practised by pratyātmāryajñāna; of leaving behind the discriminatory svalakṣaṇa and sāmānyalakṣaṇa to enter into the first true reality; of the successive, ever-higher, advancing and purifying marks of the stages in continuation; of the marks of entering the Tathāgata stage; and of effortless (anābhoga) pūrvapraṇidhāna. Just like the boundless marks and practices in the realms of multi-coloured maṇi jewels, the marks of divisions destined to appear from one's own mind in all dharmas. May I and other Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas leave behind such views of discriminatory svabhāva, svalakṣaṇa, and sāmānyalakṣaṇa, swiftly attain anuttarā samyaksambodhi, and cause all sentient beings to be fully endowed and satisfied with all peace and happiness."
