2.64

"Just as a herd of deer, oppressed by thirst, seeing a spring mirage, think of it as water, and, confused and disoriented, gallop towards it, not knowing that it is not water. So too foolish people, perfumed and habituated by beginningless false discrimination, with the three poisons burning their minds, delighting in realms of form, seeing arising, abiding, and ceasing, grasping at internal and external natures, fall into conceptions of identity and difference, both and neither, existence, nonexistence, neither existence nor nonexistence, permanence and impermanence, and are seized by false views."
