"Just as painted images have neither elevation nor depression, yet ordinary, foolish people conceive of them as high or low, even so in the future the tīrthikas, full of the vāsanā of evil views, relying on views of identity and difference, both and neither, existence, nonexistence, neither existence nor nonexistence, permanence and impermanence, will ruin themselves and ruin others. As for other discourses that are free from existence, nonexistence, and non-arising, they will also speak of them as non-existent, slandering the view of cause and effect, uprooting the roots of goodness, and destroying the cause of purity. Those who seek what is superior should keep far away from them. Propounding such statements, falling into discrimination of self, other, and both, and vikalpa of existence and nonexistence, they then fall into positing and slandering. Because of such evil views, they will fall into the hells."
