3.14

The first four lines of the verse concern the Tathāgata's personal realization being free from marks, hence they are all expressed with negatives: it means that although it is the Mahāyāna, because it is free from marks, there is no vehicle that can be ridden. Being free from all names and marks, there is neither realization nor attainment, yet neither is there no realm to be shown. "Yet riding the Mahāyāna": "riding" refers to that which is capable of riding; "Mahāyāna" is the dharma that is ridden, which points to the three kinds of mind-made bodies as the dharmas of the Mahāyāna. "Samādhi" refers to the first mind-made body. "Various mind-made" leaps ahead to praise the body born together with its kind. "Adorned with flowers" praises the second mind-made body.
