4.29

"Those fools cannot know me because they fall into the two extremes. Although they all revere and make offerings to me, they do not skillfully understand the meaning and import of words and phrases; they do not differentiate names and do not understand personal realization, grasping onto various spoken texts and sentences. Regarding neither arising nor cessation, they form the thought of naturelessness, not knowing the distinctions among the Tathāgata's names and titles, just like Indra, Śakra, and Purandara. Not understanding personal realization, converging on the ultimate, they form attachments to all dharmas according to what is said."
