'All afflictions of seeing and cultivation' refers to the afflictions of discrimination severed in the path of seeing, and the innate afflictions severed in the path of cultivation. Explaining them commonly across the three vehicles, there are briefly ten kinds: first, greed; second, anger; third, delusion (also called ignorance); fourth, pride; fifth, doubt; sixth, view of self; seventh, extreme view; eighth, evil view; ninth, attachment to views; tenth, attachment to precepts and observances. Among these ten primary afflictions, general and specific, the four kinds of doubt, evil view, and the two attachments arise solely from discrimination, which are the afflictions severed by seeing; the remaining six, greed and the rest, are common to both discrimination and innateness, and are severed by both, namely severed by seeing and severed by cultivation.
