言此闡提謗大乘法藏，及作惡言此非隨順修多羅毘尼解脫之說，以斷一切善根，不得涅槃。
This means that because this [type of] icchantika slanders the Mahāyāna treasury of Dharma and utters evil words, claiming that these are not teachings conforming to the sūtra, vinaya, and liberation, they sever all roots of goodness and do not attain nirvāṇa.
