This speaks generally of the sentient and insentient worlds. Falsely assuming there is form, the destruction of form is called annihilation. Also assuming there is consciousness, consciousness taking on further rebirth is called permanence. The Buddha knows the world is like that which is seen in a dream; thus there is neither form nor consciousness to be assumed as annihilated or permanent. This praises the Tathāgata's realization of the two views as like a dream, thereby bringing about great compassion.
