Those who do not comprehend the marks of form give rise to discrimination of form. The sakṛdāgāmin observes that the various marks of form arise from false discrimination; therefore, after returning once to the realms of humans and devas, they skillfully cultivate dhyāna and wisdom, the view of self does not arise, and having reached the limit of suffering, they attain nirvāṇa. Therefore they are called a sakṛdāgāmin.
