愚冥徇情，彼我慢生，違善興諍，罔不由茲，若能除滅，故為難矣。

When the foolish and blind indulge sentiments, pride regarding self and other arises; going against the good and inciting dispute invariably stems from this. If one can eliminate it, it is therefore difficult.
